Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center Cornerstone Laying

With much ritual and splendor, the Grand Lodge of Illinois A.F. & A.M. and the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Illinois F. & A.M. came together for the first time in history to lay the cornerstone of the Center for Advanced Care at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

Hosted as part of the annual meeting of the Masonic Family Health Foundation, the symbolic cornerstone laying was a much-anticipated event, attended by more than 500 Masons, donors, medical center leadership, physicians and associates. Comments were provided by the Grand Master of the Illinois Grand Lodge Barry Weer, Grand Master of the Prince Hall Masons of Illinois Millard Driskell and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center President Susan Nordstrom Lopez.
