Local Geneva Mason nominated for Willam D Barth Award

This year one of our own, Walter Bamert Jr, was nominated for the William D Barth Award.

The award was created in 1985 to honor an individual who has made a lasting impact on the Kane County area through volunteer activities and community service and was given out by TriCity Family Services this year on October 23rd at Riverside Receptions.

Swedish Days 2016

On Sunday June 26th, Geneva Masonic Lodge #139 participated in the 2016 Swedish Days Parade. It was a warm and humid and our float blew a tire less than half way thru the parade.

Being men that don't give up, the participating Masons grabbed the American flags that were proudly displayed on the float and along with our banner marched the rest of the way, one of our Brothers calling the time out to March to!

Make sure to look for us next year. We may march instead of ride!

Geneva Lodge #139 members join the Medinah Shrine

At the Legacy Day event on March 19th at the Medinah Shrine two Geneva Lodge members join the Shrine. Worshipful Master Brian Marra and Junior Warden Walter Bamert became Shriners that day. The day started with breakfast at the Shrine at 7:30am and ended around 1:30pm after a great lunch. Members present at this event included Brothers Grammer, Mickelsen, Ridder, Kozak, Jacobs and Urban.
